Dornier 17Z losses Maubeuge 16.5.40
Evening, im seeking details of 2x Dornier 17Z bombers shot down in, and around the area of Maubeuge on 16.5.40. from II/KG76.
From the scant information i have, its believed they were downed by French Morane MS-406 fighters. If anybody can help id be really grateful. Rgs, Steve. |

Re: Dornier 17Z losses Maubeuge 16.5.40
Peter, many thanks for the additional losses for 16.5.40, this is very useful.
The losses i asked about came from Bingham's " Blitzed " publication , of which is now fairly dated, and often said to be less accurate! so to speak. Best regards, Steve. |
