Updated link to UK WWII weather reports, ref Luftwaffe operations over British Isles

I just updated a thread in the 'Allied and Soviet Air Forces' section of the forum. Given that the content seems to me to relate more to this section, I hope you won't mind if I duplicate the content here. It relates to reports about meteorological conditions over the UK during WWII.

This is what I put in the other post:

The link identified in April 2018 at http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=50948 no longer appears to work.

As of this morning, the link to the Met Office digital library and archive index for the period 1940-1959 is at https://digital.nmla.metoffice.gov.u...6-a7d8c3eceb84

This page links to individual years, e.g. this is the 1944 reports:

https://digital.nmla.metoffice.gov.u...-0f50de991118/

And this is February 1944 (a particular interest for me for my ongoing work on Steinbock): https://digital.nmla.metoffice.gov.u...-d065701b351e/

All this is probably common knowledge to members of this forum but I spent an hour this morning finding it out for myself - I should have done a TOCH forum search first, shouldn't I (rather than finding this thread afterwards)?! And I agree this stuff is pure gold for establishing the weather conditions in which Luftwaffe operations over the UK actually took place.

Updated link offered for what it's worth, i.e. anybody else as ignorant as I was until this morning!

Simon
