a pilot of 56th Fighter Group
 
Hello,

I research about Lt Thomas Guerrero 39163958, born in 1919,lived at Santa Barbara California, killed on 18 September 1944 when flying with 63th Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group on P47 44-19768.

I would like to know about the circonstance of its death, and where he is buried.

According to 63d Sq. CO , Harold Comstock ,
In quote from Book " Wolfpack Warriors " Page 193
Lt. Tom Gurrero Crash Landed and was badly injured.
He was Captured and taken to Hospital where a Steel Plate
was put in his Head and then Repatriated.
