Heinz Beyer,DKiG Holder

Gentlemen,

Oberfeldwebel Heinz Beyer who was a German Cross in Gold holder had scored at least 33 air to air victories by the middle of 1943 while in JG5. What was the fate of this German ace? There is no information of Beyer as of 1944 and 1945.

Fate - married in June 1943....

Werner Girbig's JG5 book only mentions him once and that is in the list of JG 5 pilots and their scores - 33 unit III./JG 5 no fate stated.
