I'm looking for informations concerning a german aircraft shot down the 14th july 1943 in Evreux aera (Normandy) by the rear gunner of a b-17 from 94th bomb group. I don't know the name of the pilot but he was in flight with Egon Mayer. Morever if anybody knows the place of the crash. Thank you all Best regards Loïc |

There were 5 JG 2 losses this day-Evreux (a FW 190), Laquerville, Amiens, Rouen and La Capelle. Which one would match?
