What was a "Dämmerungflug" ?

Please, what were the special features (characteristics) of a "Dämmerüngflug" ? Fligt taken place at the end of the afternoon ...

Flight in twilight. I don't think there's anything special about it apart from the amount of light available.

At a point it puzzles me … an air exercice with no specifical practical name/meaning ! But only the time/hour of the day … Merci for your help .

Dämmerungsflug /twillight flight could be an operational night fighter mission which was flown without any ground based radar support, often a systematic pattern was flown in order to cover an assigned area where the crew visually tried to detect a target in the twillight against the clouds/sky
