Yugoslav Fighter Colours 1918-1941

This is an announcement for a forthcoming book titled "Yugoslav Fighter Colours 1918-1941" by Ognjan Petrovic and myself due second half of 2019. I am sure you are all familiar with MMP's titles in this series. This book has been long overdue, especially considering that over the years Royal Yugoslav Air Force operated many famous domestic and foreign fighter types such as Spad VII/XIII, Dewoitine D1C1, Hawker Fury, Ikarus IK-2, Hawker Hurricane, Rogozarski IK-3, Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3a, Potez 63 any many others…In our book we will talk about 20 or so airplanes, will have over 200 photos and around 150 color profiles. Stay tuned!

"Illustration: 240+ B&W photos, 160+ color profiles."
I find the number of colour profiles very high (which is a good thing).
I plan to include about 730 photos and 87 colour profiles in my two-volume book on Bulgarian fighters and fighter trainers, by the same publisher.

Denes,

I believe we were counting side view, top view, underside view as all individual profiles. We are working on it and will see how many we end up with. There are a total of 20 different airplanes, some will have more profiles than others.

With regards to the photos, we will most likely end up getting more, this is just what we had available at the time of the contract. You know how it is, it is better to have more then less and then pair it down.

I can't wait to see your books! It is getting close!
