one possible is Ju-88 A-4 7./KG 54 B3+CR ?Uffz Riederich Siegfried (MIA)---Uffz Slenska Werner (MIA)---Obgfr Halberstadt Wilhelm (MIA)---Gefr Frost Max (MIA)

They are still missing but I don't know where the KG 54 was going to land after the mission !

Fliegerdiv. 2 flew a torpedo operation over the invasion area on the night of 30 July and reported one Ju 88 missing. It would have come from KG 26 or KG 77 but I can't narrow that down any further at the moment.

Based at Marx, but it's missions to the Seine Bay area were all flown from Soesterberg/Holland, both to and from.

ADIK report 427/1944 has 1K+IP (+JP in KG 26 history) ditching one mile off Barfleur Harbour 23.30hrs on the 30th with 3 crew pow and one missing.
The crash location on 8 km nne of Limoges would seem to preclude KG 54 , possibly a KG 77 loss on transfer ?

According to Radtke on 28-29/7/1944 I./KG54 moved to Orleans-Bricy and III./KG 54 to Chateaudun. Still not in the Limoges area though.
