He115 1./KuFlGr.406 shot down 14/9/42
 

Hi guys

The above was shot down during PQ18. The crew was rescued by U-405 and named as Oblt Rohwer, Fw Hupe and Ogfr Fisch, but I cannot confirm. Has anyone the correct identities? And also the code markings?

Exactly this names gives in U.405's KTB. He.115 has one float damaged while try to rescue downed crew in rubber boat. Second crew was from Ju.88 Wr.Nr 1774, Haase and Gudzent rescued but both died on U-boat within half a hour.

But that doesn't fully identify the crew! I can't find Rohwer in the Kracker aircrew lists. Any further info appreciated, please.
