Oblt Rainer Einhardt 2./NAG 13
 

The above was shot down by 165 Sqn on 30 Jul 43. Some records has his name as Einhart or Einhardt Rainer or Rainer Einhurt. Can anyone confirm one way or the other-irritatingly, there appears to be no PERS 6 file for him

GQM loss return 3 Aug 1943 item 14 has Rainer Einhurdt too. He flew Fw 190 A-3 WNr. 307 Doppelwinkel/double chevron 100%.

The Diffusion des Nachnamen website gives very few returns for »Einhardt« and none at all for »Einhurdt«.

Nick-is this christian name or surname as I feel it is Rainer Einhardt

The site works on surnames (apparently of everyone in the German phone system in the 1990s). Like you, I took Rainer to be his Christian name.

(Rainer being his last name)
