Airman Franz Zitsel Escape

Hi All,

Searching for information regarding Luftwaffe airman Franz Zitsel aged 24. Franz was one of three German prisoners who escaped from Camp 116, Bishops Stortford, unfortunately I have no date for the incident.

I was wondering if anyone can supply any further details regarding unit, etc, etc?

Zitsel is an unusual German name. I would expect Zitzl, or Zitzel.
Just to improve the possibilities of search...
