According to "Project Bits 'N Pieces"
  • The code was EP + M
  • Was manufacturered 10-Oct-43
  • Accepted date was 10-Nov 43
  • Arrived on Station in 1944
  • It was called "The All American Girl" and was also apparently named, at some point, "Our Mark"
  • Lost to fighters and AA, crashed in Gladbach, Germany
  • Lt. John J. Dodrill was commander
  • 9 crew were KIA

Do you have the MACR 11744 report ?
If so does it give any info as to weather the B17 was finally shot down by fighters ?

Cheers
