Li-equipped NJ Do217 crash at Eleusis in (late) September 1942?
Dear all,
I've received an ULTRA message of late September 1942 which mentions a Lichtenstein A/I-equipped Nachtjagd Do217 crash at Eleusis in (late?) September 1942, the a/c was piloted by an 'Ofw. Dingeldei'. Although the name does ring a bell with me I can't find anything on the man, nor on the exact date of the crash. Who can help? Cheers and thanks, Theo |

Thanks chaps for your replies -the ULTRA report literally states: "... the Do 217 of the night fighter detachment which crashed at Eleusis with Obfw. Dingeldei".
