Manning level of a NJG

I am trying to make Helmut Lent his role as a manager of a Gruppe, Staffel and Geschwader a little bit clearer. Information about this subject seems to be very very rare. Not only in Lent' s case, but also with the much more illustrious Mölders or Galland.

I have problems to find infos regarding the manning level of a NJG. The following information is collected from various web sites (sorry couldn' t find descriptive literature):

Quote:

Geschwader
100-120 aircraft
1000-1500 men air and ground crew.

Gruppe (3 (1939-1943) and sometimes 4 (1943-1945))
65-70 aircraft each
35-150 aircrew
300-500 ground crew each.

Staffel
12-16 aircraft
? aircrew
? ground crew each.

Bf110
2 to 3 men aircrew
5 ground crew ?

Ju88
3 to 4 men aircrew
5 groundcrew ?
Got the numbers from a bunch of websites. Really, each website operates with different values. As you can see from my list the values don' t work.

I am also missing the personnel for administration, medic, logistics units and anything else what "made" a NJG.

I would be very kind if somebody could serve me with some more realistic values. Don' t need that for 100%, but it should be more or less realistic. Thanks.

ZERO relpies? I am wondering. Well i don' t expected answers, this isn' t a theme for the ordinary self styled Luftwaffen experts right?

You have it more with kills and kc' s - am i right? OK, i this was a little bit of kidding, but i am just reading THE LENT PAPER ( a to my opinion very very unfruitful book, well book, is it a book, yes it looks like a book. It goes about kills and kcs and again about kills and again a kc holder pic. Filled with lots of OFF TOPIC infos to make it a book. Pages over pages filled with kill reports. Really shocking so and to my opinion not worth a reading.)

Hi,
What you are looking for is the Kriegsstärkenachweisungen (K.St.N.) for the formations in question, which I am afraid none of us have found. You will get a feel for it by having a look at the K.St.N. for a Staffel.
