Information concerning loss of Feldwebel Rupert Mebes - France 19.07.1942

Please can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Rupert Mebes who was killed in air combat in France on the 19th July 1942?

Hi Rick, from GQM list :- 19-7-42 'H' IV/KG6 Do17P 1064 100% FF Ltn. Heinz Frintrop, B Fw. Siegfried Freitag, Bf Ofw. HeinzBerlau, Bm Fw. Ruppert Mebes all killed in crash by Maux,

The KG6 history vol 2 just adds crashed to unknown cause by Villaroche south of Paris

Hi,

read Meaux rather than Maux. Meaux is 30 kms north of Villaroche
