Great set of photos, excellent find Marc!

Presume the Fw 190 was also one of NSG.9's?

The time and place would suggest it but since the machine's unmarked (as far as I can see) we can't be certain.

Hello!

Steve Sheflin, Marc anyone. In previous page there was interesting Bf 109 G-10 photo (page 100, post #3961)

Years ago I started thread Peter Düttmann and his "wonderful bird" Bf 109 G-10 WNr 610533

http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=10423

Is this the very same plane?? Is the WNr ...533 or ...583?

Cheers,
Kari

Dear Kari,

I have noted it as W.Nr. 610583 thanks to John McIllmurray who forwarded me this information 26 September 2018.

Further, I can only confirm the prior loss of W.Nr. 610533, 8 March 1945 with its pilot Ofhr Rudolf Plöderl MIA.

Cheers
Marc

Salut!

I think W.Nr. 610583 it is as the W.Nr. 610533 was 100% loss (as I had found in my old thread).

Mystery solved, merci Marc!

Kari

The rear side of the previous photo. Allegedly, the pilot died of "heart failure". I guess, a well aimed shot does cause "heart failure".
