German propaganda movie in Hungary 1944/45
 

Gentlemen,

I am looking for a movie, made by German war correspondents in Hungary about the Schlachtfliegers in winter, 1944/45 (I guess, it was made in November, 1944 but I am not 100% sure). That particular movie sounds about Oberst Rudel (of course), but the Hungarian assault pilots appear in that movie also.

Any kind of help, suggestion would be greatly appreciated by me.

Hi,

Try the "Die Deutsche Wochenschau" Volume 32 sold by the Reichs Film Video Archive. It covers six complete newsreels from January 25th, 1945 up to March 22nd, 1945. In one of the newsreels there is some nice combat scenes showing winter camoed Ju87s "Kanonenvogel" attacking Soviet armor.

Also, there is an interview with Rudel while he was in the Hospital after lose his leg. It really worths as it has 110 minutes of amazing combat shots.
