Founded in 1999 by Marcus Wendel, AHF is now defunct. About a week ago, the site went down and when it came back up a couple of days later it had undergone a disastrous change. It is now full of softcore porn ads and in will not allow the old-timers to post. First we lost Feldgrau a few years ago and now AHF. A real shame and a sign of the times, I guess.

Morning Larry,

Axis History Forum seems to be still working fine for me, at https://forum.axishistory.com/index.php. There is a post noting that they have been ironing out a few log-in bugs in recent days, so that might be the issue. It has worked fine for me in the last few weeks.

Im a moderator on AHF & can confirm Andrews comment. Some how all users were "Banned" by the forums user exclusion system. It took the administrator about 4 1/2 hours to learn about he problem & restore service. The problem was thought to be internal.

I can't offer anything on Larrys link to another site. While I was investigating the problem from my end there was no diversion to any other sites on the three machines I was working from.

Thanks for the informative comments. Meanwhile, Carl has sent me a PM, so I'll go there now and see what he has to say. I just went to AHF again and it still will not let me post there.
