Hersteller code

Greeting everyone,

Does anyone know the Hersteller with the three-letter code “SLF?”

Thank you in advance,

Steve Sheflin

Hello Snautzer,

Thank you for your input.

I doubt, however, that Schweres Leuchtfeuer is the correct Hersteller. I should have been more concise and mentioned that these code letters relate to a late-war producer of Jumo 213 E motors.

Thank you again for helping,

Steve Sheflin

Good morning!

My thought is:

Spindel- und Lagertechnik Fraureuth

They built different types of bearings.

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

Steve to find that one, you need this, i have part 1 1940 (1944 version for sale here http://www.podzemni-antikvariat.cz/d...geordnet-xerox ) I looked into the Jumo 213 manuals but no producers codes there. I doubt that LSF stands for Spindel- und Lagertechnik Fraureuth.

Dear all,

SLF is at least not mentioned in the book of German manufacturer codes by M. Heidler.

Steve,
The highest code in my copy of the Liste der Fertigungskennzeichen is 'ozz'.
Where did you get 'slf' as the manufacturer's code?

My book is a copy of the original dated Oct 1944. This was reprinted by Pawlas in 1977.

Re: Hersteller code

Hello, Richard et al,
My go-to source for Hersteller codes in the VISIER Edition (German secret armament codes until 1945), Michael Heidler, 2008.
I found the Hersteller code on a Jumo 213 Typenschild. I tried to attach a photo of it here but failed miserably. Following is a transcription of it:
Gerät-Nr. 9 213 A-1
Werk-Nr. 1111523905 G1
Hersteller SLf
Note that the SL is in upper case and the f is in lower case.
Respectfully,
Steve Sheflin
