Information concerning the loss of Uffz. Schmid - killed 28.08.1943

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Uffz. Hermann Schmid who was killed in an air battle on the 28th August 1943?

Absturz um 16.20 Uhr nach Luftkampf mit Jäger und Aufschlagbrand. Bruch 100 %.

From what I have, Matti's information is mostly correct, but the WNr. he reports is in conflict with other sources. WNr. 530323 shows up twice in later loss reports. In 'Die Jagdfliegerverbande....' from Dr. Prien & his team, the WNr. is listed as WNr. 530393. So far, there is no conflict with that WNr. from other sources.
