I typically start a search with used.addall.com, since it searches every other book offer site it knows about. Since the same book dealer will probably list on multiple sites, you can then choose the site you prefer to order a given book. I tend to pick the offer from ABEBooks, but may go with others at times.

Frank, Abebooks does tend to have the lowest offers, looking at some books I would like to get. Amazon gets the best press for its logistics infrastructure, but it appears that they are not quite the best when it comes to pricing!

Thank you, Ed. ZVAB is indexed by AddAll, but it is useful to know that it exists as a separate website. Having checked the ZVAB website, it is possible that it has a wider range of offers than those seen on AddAll - the indexing could be incomplete.
