A well known photo, possibly retouched, or Kissenberth used more than one black D.V painted with this spectacular edelweiss.
He was a former "Alpenflieger" when in Feldflieger Abt 9b

Other photos show the white serial number D.2263/17 very clearly on the fin.

Kissenberth by the way was one of a few aces who used glasses in combat. Most likely they fitted underneath his goggles.
