RAF gun camera footage

Hi all !

I am looking for a certain cine gun camera film
of RAF 181 Sqn.
2nd december 1943
Film No. 181/23

Is there any list of still existing footage?
Is there any evidence that most of the RAF
films were at some time "put to the trash can"?

The only location I know where they held parts of cine gun cumera films is at the Film & Video Archive of the Imperial War Museum:

Apart from their online database they've a hardcopy index, but you've to arrange an appointment to go through this index.
