12 sqdn 1942
Can any one help with some infomation on 747809 Sgt Philip Harry Jackett RAFVR, died 27 july 1942. he was with 12qdn RAF Binbrook, he was an air gunner in a wellington MkII and is in Reichswold Forrest War Cemetery. I would like to find the intended target, aircraft number details of crew, his age and any other details on him.
I have found the infomation above on the net but cant seem to get any further, so I would realy appreciate any help from other members Peter |

Wellington II, W5367 coded PH- crashed in the vicinity of Bramsche whilst on an op to Hamburg. The pilot F/Sgt AS Holgate survived and becamw a p.o.w. The rest of the crew perished and were originally buried near Bramsche but the remains of Sgt RF Ashby, F/Sgt LTW Grady RCAF, Sgt Savory And Sgt PH Jackett were re-interred in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetary.
