He must be quite a venerable age by now-I last met him in 1994 and he was a very helpful chap

Thank you very, very much. I'm really glad (and relieved) to hear that Mr Kornicki is alive. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to contact him personally. (Well, I'd most probably tell him I'm his fan.) :-)
