Russian POW Camps....

What were the average conditions in a Russian POW camp say, after the battle of Stalingrad? I understand that only 5 percent of the 6th Army survived imprisonment but one can only assume that many of these men would have died even with good medical treatment given their condition after the battle (the fact that many of them had not eaten in weeks and were badly frostbitten). Obviously officers above the rank of Captain (field grade or higher) were treated better, I am wondering about the conditions at the camps for enlisted men. Did the conditions improve after 1943 for German POWs?
