In the Luftwaffe Officers Career Summaries two Verlohrs are mixed-up. The one, who was KIA on 24 July 1941 with Fw 200 was Hptm Conrad-Friedrich Verlohr. Lt Werner Verlohr was MIA on 15 May 1942 as I told in my previous message.

Here is the latest version of our files after taking into account all new inputs:

VERLOHR, Conrad-Friedrich. 16.01.41 Hptm. and Staka 1./KG 40, sunk two freighters totalling 11,000 GRT. 24.07.41 Hptm. and Staka 1./KG 40, MIA - Fw 200 C-3 (F8+CH) over the Atlantic west of Ireland. Credited with sinking two ships totalling 10,857 GRT.
VERLOHR, Walter. (DOB: 03.07.19). (DKG). 01.03.41 promo to Lt./A1. 08.12.41 Lt., awarded the Ehrenpokal. 15.05.42 Lt., 3./KG 77 MIA - Ju 88 A-4 (3Z+RL) lost in the area of Tschen - Werchowja. 22.05.42 Lt., 3./KG 77 awarded the DKG.

Any corrections or additions are always welcome. Our files are always being improved upon.
