Re: RUDI DASSOW

Larry deZeng and Doug Stankey have assembled an extensive short-bio list of Luftwaffe officers. The following is from their work, with a few tidbits added.

Rudolf ‘Rudi’ DASSOW, Born: 23.January 1920 in Wolgast/Pommern.
1942 assigned to II./ZG 26. 10.April 1943 Lt. in 7./ZG 1 WIA/MIA in Me 210 A-1 WNr.8169, 2N+GR by Spitfire, Northwest of Bou Thadi; returned on 16.April 1843. His radio operator, Fw. Walter Böhme was killed in the crash-landing.
8.October 1943 Lt., Stab/ZG 26.
22.February 1944 Lt., 4./ZG 26. (There is some motion picture film, and some stills, of his return from a successful mission at this time, flying Me 410 “weiße 11”)
3.April 1944 Lt., Stab II./ZG 26 awarded the DKG.
11.April 1944 Lt., Stab II./ZG 26.
21.June 1944 WIA - Me 410 WNr.420509 (or, 420590?), 3u+MM.
August 1944 now in II./JG 6, Staffelkapitän 8./JG 6
25.August 1944 KIA – Fw 190 A-8/R8 WNr.171711 “blaue 11 + -” shot down in flames vicinity of la Fère near Laon/France during combat with P-38 Lightnings of 367 FG and not seen again.
5.September 1944 Lt., posthumously awarded the Ritterkreuz. Credited with 22 air victories.

Crashlanded with several SC50 bombs still on board, wich detonated in collision with ground. Gunner was killed, Dassow miracally survived.

Also, Rudi Dassow is seen on this Wochenschau:

Re: RUDI DASSOW

Any possibility to see a picture of this cup? Any date on it? The number of kills of Rudi Dassow are still up for debate as there is insufficient data on his claims.
