Books on the air combat over Japan 1944/45?
Could anyone book recommend a volume on the aerial battles over Japan during late 1944 to August 1945, particularly focusing on fighter vs. fighter combat?
I'm rather unfamiliar with the subject, so a volume dealing with the subject with some introduction chapters and a more general description would be appreciated (though I wouldn't mind detailed researches and unit histories, too). Above all I'm looking for descriptions of combat on a daily basis and pilots stories; photos and "kill" charts are of secondary importance, though again, I wouldn't mind if such were included. Thanks! |

"Genda's Blade: Japan's Squadron of Aces: 343 Kokutai" and "B-29 Hunters of the JAAF" by Henry Sakaida
