What Ju52 variant is this?? Ju52 Tfa IX??

I know most of the variants...never heard of this one:

Ju52/Tfa IX

Any thoughts?

This must be a part plate (not a c/n plate); this should identify a part of a wing.
Do you have a photo of the plate and/or please describe the exact location of the plate for further identification.
Do you know to which Ju 52 this plate belongs?

I only know that that rather than being indicated as:

Ju52 / mg3e

it is indicated as:

Ju52 / Tfa IX

The first one (g3e) is a typical entry on a c/n plate, while the second one (Tfa IX) is a typical entry on a part plate and describes a certain part of the aircraft, in this case a part of the wing assembly.
The latter does NOT allow to draw any reliable conclusions about the type or subtype (g3e, g4e, etc.) of the aircraft.
