John Kennedy Davenport 151538 - 502 Sqdn 1943
 

Trying to narrow down when John Kennedy Davenport arrived on 502 Squadron in 1943.

Have been given copies of Davenport's thoughts on the ditching of F/O Eric Leeming Hartley and G/C Roger Clutton Mead ditching in Halifax B-Beer of 58 Squadron on 27 September 1943.

Thought that Davenport may have been on 502 Squadron based at Holmesley South around the same time as this incident (as 58 also based at Holmesley South) checked September 1943 then either side August and October unfortunately not listed as being posted or flying ops.

Any help appreciated.
