Gentlemen,what was Willi Fros war record looked like besides that he had five air to air kills in combat while flying the Me 410? Did he survived WWII? I guess we don't much about his Luftwaffe career.

Yes, he survived the war but I don't know when he died.
This is his kill list: 24,2.44 5./ZG 26 B-17 6,3.44 5./ZG 26 B-17 11,4.44 5./ZG 26 B-17 20,6.44 6./ZG 26 B-24 21,6.44 6./ZG 26 B-17 He was injured in August 1943 and June 1944. His gunner was Gerhard Brandl. You find a photo of him and his plane in Robert Forsyth's "Me 210/410 Zerstörer Units" p89. |
