First timer, question regarding NAG 102

Hello all,
I'm new to the forum, and jumping back into Luftwaffe modeling after a protracted absence ( was building IJN).
I'm finishing a G 12 conversion now, and was wondering f there are known codes for NAG 102, especially;

7 8 44 LF 10 NAG 102 Jüterbog-damm BF BF109G-12 19499 20

I'd like to finish this model as this a/c, I have Dr. Haldemann's flicker page with all the photos, but I don't see a NAG 102.

Any ideas as to numbers, colors, codes....

TIA
Tom

I have the same information from the Gen.Qu. Schulen losses. Unfortunately those records, like the Verband loss records, don't record pilots or crews unless there were crew casualties.

Tom,

Just an idea: your NAG 102 is with high probability a typo for JG 102. There are 16 pics of JG 102 planes waiting for you here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/2809206...7640125239846/

Hello Marc,

sorry, but I can't agree with you.

NAG 102 - the tactical recce school-unit of the Luftwaffe - was based at Jüterbog in summer 1944 and flew the usual bunch of Ar 96s and Bf 109s, including G-12. QM has a lot of losses at Jüterbog-Damm and also some from Jüterbog-Waldlager. JG 102 on the other hand was near Aalborg at that time.

Greetings

Carl

Tom,
what is "Dr. Haldemann's flicker page"? Can you share the link, please?

Thanks Carl, fo enlightening me...and us! Never heard of NAG 102 so far.... Might there be confusions between that unit and JG 102?

Cheers

Marc - Based on Carl's comments, I can't see any possible basis for confusion. Jüterbog was also home to various other instructional / evaluative Recce units at various times during 1942 - 1944 such as LuEkdo 24.
