Gentlemen,

today the manuscript of JFV 15/I has been sent to the publisher. It covers Luftwaffe fighter operations in the East in 1944, Vol. I containig the general part detailing the war situation in the East in 1944, the fighter operations in general, the fighter a/c used in the East in 1944 and changes to the Lw organization in the East. Units covered are Stab, II., III., IV., 13. and 14./JG 5, III./JG 11 and Stab, Stabsstaffel, I., II., III., IV. and 15./JG 51. 498 pages of text and photos, 5 maps, 222 photos.

Date of release as yet not fixed; Jörg Rogge cannot promise to deliver before the end of this year much as he will try. I beg you to bear with him there.

This is the series I was waiting very long time for. The whole 1944 (then 1945), the Eastern Front, will be a must for me. Thanks, Jochen, for your great work and perseverence!
