How about an English edition?

Good evening Jukka.

an English edition is not for tomorrow, But we have discussions about this question and probably the solution will be to download a PDF of the magazine or by article... But It's only a discussion.

To have an English Edition is very expansive and we don't know if it would be protitable...

Have a nice evening.

Re: AceS n°8

Why not do it then only in English? I bet it would sell substantially more than in French.

And I bet it would not. But we've already discussed that.

Re: AceS n°8

hmmmmm. 220 million French speaking people vs 1.5 billion English .....
And apparently in 2017 English was more widely spoken than Mandarin and standard Chinese combined.
I'm with Jukka here.

Re: AceS n°8

But on the other hand, there are some magazines with first class content in French... Avions, Le Fana, Air Fan, and now the AceS to name a few... And what's there in English? The Great War has excellent coverage in C&C and Over the Front, The Aviation Historian is nice, but still it is so little for 1.5 billion speakers. The French "aviation history scene" when it comes to magazines is undoubtedly way above its British/US counterpart. This is a real mystery for me.

Re: AceS n°8

You are thinking of a market in way of people, not even enthusiats, and absolutely not customers. There is no mystery on my part. In France there are not only history enthusiasts but they are also willingful to invest in that hobby... if quality follow.

I wish we could compare selling figures of The Aviation Historian (as we are talking of a certain level of quality, not warbirds photo albums) with Aero Journal or Avions.

Re: AceS n°8

And if they are such quality publications with first class content compared to what's already available in English, just think how many more you would sell if they were also in English ....
