Delta Defence Flight 1942-43

Hi guys

I've seen referenceto the above unit but know very little about it. I believe it may have been an offshoot of 103 MU and 94 Squadron flying Spitfire Vs. Two of its pilots shot down a Ju88 of 2.(F)/123 on 20 December 1942. But that's about all I know.

Hope someone can enlighten me, please?

It's not mentioned in the Air Britain book on "other" units, but I guess you know that. I have seen reference - and a photo - of Mk.VIs in the same role. Spitfire the History lists five of these, servng with 252 Wing.
