Latest Ebay stuff: Captured Fw 190 D-9 and He 111 in Plauen, Saxony

Forgive me if these have been already posted, but they are to good not to mention them:

Number 1) shows an already known plane, but this time the Werknummer is quite readable. Guess it's "500610" (which is also in accordance with what the JaPo guys were speculating in volume II of their Dora work).

Number 2) is more interesting to me, as it shows a crash-landed or disabled He 111 of KG 200. Thomas and Ketley (in their KG 200-book) do list a He 111 "A3+BD". Source is a Flugbuch Braun. Perhaps it's the same aircraft as in this photo. Is there any more info available?

Cheers,
Christian

And again I can't post links any more :( Why is that? Had the same problem some months ago...Anyway, I've attached the photos in question. Seller is/was "spyfly03" The auctions just closed.

Thank you Christian!

After a long look at the photo, I would think that the W.Nr. is 500619, but I could be wrong.

He 111 A3+BD is interesting because every other A3+_D aircraft I know of was a Ju 188 or (in one possible case) a Ju 88. KG 200 used a weird coding system but +_D seems to have denoted the 4. Staffel and its detached Kommandos.

The Geschwader seems to have used He 111s in the East under (from memory) the 2. Staffel.

Thanks for bringing the photo to light.

Snautzer - Does this photo show more or less of the Fw 190D-9?

He's posted it in a discussion here: http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/air...90d-42447.html and referenced that it exists on LEMB. I think this is the pic he's talking about:

Ah ok, I have this one too - thanks for posting anyway!

By the way - I've found the Werknummer of one of the Ju 87s captured in Plauen (on a photo showing nothing but the tailplane). It's 131095 (should be a D-5, KW+OO). Is there any info about the last unit of this plane?
