Hello everyone,

enclosed an update of the Errata sheet. Not much new info, but I plan to update this document every year or so. If anybody has comments or additions to the book, please let me know!

Regards,

John Manrho.

:) great stuff John & good timing as the book is by my PC for a thread over on the LEMB... this will replace the old sheet that sits inside my copy of your excellent book. If only more authors would provide sheets like this...

Kind regards

Hi Nick,

indeed interesting. Without a doubt the "Meitner" mentioned in the report is Fhr. Klaus Meixner of 12./JG 54 who belly-landed sout east of Kirchhellen. Oblt. Dortenmann landed in Kirchhellen. See also page 180 of our book.

If you find more references to Bodenplatte, just post them here or send me an e-mail!

Thanks!

John.

Loved the book

The Halifax photo on page 214 has the tail markings of 347 Sqn, what I cannot tie up is the identity of the aircraft, nothing from that squadron seems to fit.

Yes, of course. I have taken a huge number of photos of documents at the National Archives in the last year or so. The plan is the take a picture of anything that looks interesting and then review it all in my spare time. The only I need now is the spare time!

You don't get it by working, that's for sure!

Hi,

I have been trying to download the Bodenplatte Errata sheet 3, but it seems I don't have the required access?

I have registered with the forum - I would be grateful if forum admin could apply the necessary changes to my profile.

Many thanks

Steve
