Location is Schleissheim, near Munich.

Here another shot of that very same plane: Bf 109 G-6 W.Nr. 44. ..., "TS+MB", Technische Schule Motor, München - Schleissheim, July 1945. Source: Picasa web Google, album of Lt Kaczor.

Re: eBAy: Captured german planes

Hello,

Look the crosses on the upper wings were painted over and it seems this was applied on all planes..

The plane with the black 2 and without any german signs was a G-2 or G-4 model ?
And what was his unit ?

The black 15 in the background was a K-4 from JG 53.

Thank you for this very good picture.
Best regards,
Lumabe.

no, no, two
On TS+MB camo details are like fingerprint. Two different fingers here. Two planes, maybe more.

I'm not sure what you mean here, Ed. To me, in both photos the a/c in the foreground is the same Bf109G-6 - different lighting, canopy open at a different angle, but the camo is the same.
Now, in the Flickr photo the third a/c along also looks like TS+MB, and that's an earlier version.
