Crash of (Allied) plane in Hungary, early 1943.

Hello,

here is a scan of wartime Hungarian magazine, from June 30th 1943.

On last page there are few images from airplane crash. I presume it was some Allied plane, since it was featured in magazine. There is MG which looks like Browning .303, and since it was early 1943. it could be some British plane on special mission.

Do you have some ideas on this crash?
For Hungarian speaking members, maybe caption could provide some data?

This can be in a Hungarian military magazine in 1943, but definitely not in Hungary. Location is Ukraine on the Eastern front, the plane is most likely a downed soviet A-20B, or C Boston. Hard to read, but most likely says this:

"The recce. mission has failed! The burning remains of a downed soviet airplane behind the village. Grenadiers captured two crewmembers, two others lost their lives among the wrecks. Residents of the Ukrainian village are inspecting the crashed, burned "steel-bird".

I agree, A-20. Notice the interior canopy details.
