Information concerning loss of Ltn. Gotthard Fluche - killed 20.12.1942
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Leutnant Gotthard Joachim Fluche?

He was an experienced pilot in KG30 with many awards including the EKI and Silver Flight Badge. He also had the Golden HJ Badge too and was a member of the NASDP.

He was killed on a mission over Tunisia on the 20th December 1942. He was 24 yeas old.

Rick his loss is shown on GQMs returns dated 22-12-42 page 7. my copy is poor but looks like 20-12-42 Ju88 4D+I? 0384 10/KG30 Ff Lt, Gotthard Fluche m-+, B Ogef Herbert Rassenteufel m, Bf Uffz Alois Matyessek m, Bs Gef Kurt Schultheiss m. Aircraft was on a Feindflug and loss place looks like Teressa ? The first names of the crew were readable but all the surnames were badly smudged perhaps someone with a clearer copy could check and correct these surnames,
