Information concerning Flying Officer Tom Danby DF
Hi,
Can anyone provide information on the lancasters and crew that Flying Officer Tom Danby flew with in 101 Squadron and 166 Squadron. I know that he completed 2 tours and was a gunnery expert who also flew RAF B 17s. Thanks Rick |
Re: Information concerning Flying Officer Tom Danby DF
Hello,
Between 9 January and 9 April 1943, 111100 F/O Thomas Ramsey Danby, DFC, flew 27 operations with No. 101 Squadron as the MU gunner in the crew of 101034 F/Lt John Roscoe Tuckwell, DFC. Of those 27 trips, 20 were in Lancaster ED373 (lost 25/26 June 1943 with another crew) Regards, Dave |
