We will work on description of content of previous issues as well.

Re: REVI magazine

Jean, I have a question regarding a magazine that was published in Czechoslovaquia. I got yestarday some copies from the magazine Aero Revue from 1996 (if I remember correctly) Doing a search on web I found Aero Revue but being published in Germany. Do you know it the name Aero Revue belonged to a Czec publisher and was bouth by the Germany one? I really must find the previous Czec owner to ask them a help with the Czec Weihe photos they published.

Thanks for any hint,

Re: REVI magazine

Sergio,

you certainly mean Plastic Kits Revue later renamed to Aero Plastic Kits Revue or APKR. They had no relation to German Aero Revue.

1) This magazine quit publishing about 5 years ago
2) some of the editors went to plastic model business and they are employed in company Pavla Models
3) I have no idea in what issue the Fw 58 artical was.

If you need further help, please contact me off-board.

Jan

PS: the cat is fantastic!

Re: REVI magazine

Hi Jan,

Revi magazine is a superb read, with absolutely first class colour profiles,
highly recommended.
The english translation would be welcome though i feel ,for many other uk enthusiasts, and i feel this mag puts many other British publications to shame,
with the quality of research, archive photographs, and the excellent profile drawings.
Just wish it was more widely circulated in the uk.
Rgs,
Steve.

Re: REVI magazine

Steve, thank you very much,

We have to still do a lot of work on Czech market, but as soon as English translations will be quickly produced (including free download) I hope to improve sales in EU and US.

Last year I got very nice comment from Mira Liskutin (312 Sq, now UK citizen): "It is pity that I am not 20 years younger, I would subscribe it ..."

Mira helped us a lot with several articals.

cheers

Jan

Re: REVI magazine

Hi Jan,

Thank you for your reply.
Has you may have gathered, i am a big fan of Revi magazine, and i am particularly interested in Luftwaffe aircraft, and air combat during the European
campaigns.
My specific interest is the Battle of Britain period, and would welcome any news
of any future articles, or profiles of a/c from that period.

I await to see the exciting changes being made to magazine with interest!

Best regards,
Steve.
