Loss Of Me 262 26th April 1945

On 26th April 1945, in the vicinity of Niebull, close the the Danish border, an Me 262 was claimed by Typhoons of 263 Squadron.

It was shot down from about 3,000ft and was seen to crash into the ground in flames. It was claimed by F/L W.J Fowler, P/O J.W Shellard and W/O H. Barrie. I have checked Adrian foreman's book 'The Me 262 Combat Diary' and the JG 7 book by Griehl with no luck in identifying the name of the Me 262 pilot.

Does anyone have any better sources of information that could help me identify the name of the pilot and unit this Me 262 was attached please.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Many thanks,

David
