Re: Walter Katz SCW shot down

Hello,

According to Spanish Republican Aces by Rafael A. Permuy López:
On 11 November 1938, teniente Walter Katz (CO of the Patrulla de Caza Nocturna) was shot down and killed by anti-aircraft fire during a night attack on the Serós bridgehead on the left bank of the River Segre. He had been accompanied on the mission by sargento López Fernández, who escaped the intense flak unscathed.

Best wishes/Hĺkan
