Luftwaffe artist (Hans Liske?) album

Not sure, if it is well-known album or artist, but may be it will be interesting:

The web page is Russian, but just click on small pictures to see paintings.

His name is "Hans Liska" and he is own of the most best known illustrators of or for the Wehrmacht. IIRC he was an army officer. Most of his works deal with army topics.
AFAIK he illustrated before and after the war.

Thank you, veryu much, I wasn't aware of this. Can you comment some version from one of Russian forums, that this album was found near shot down aircraft?

I met Hans Liska 1943 during Berlin attacks by RAF, told him my story and he painted for the magazine "Signal":

For those who want to see him, the PK-Sonderführer Hans Liska is pictured with pilots of I./JG 300 on the grounds of Hennef (January 1944) on page 124 of the JG 300 book vol. 1 (Eagle Editions, USA, 2005).

Re: Luftwaffe artist (Hans Liske?) album

In 1943 an album with reproductions 36 aquarelle (color) paintings (printed by Carl Werner, Reichenbach i.V.) by Hans Liska was published in both Finland and Sweden. The paintings depict various front motives, including extremely realistic aircraft pictures.

The layout of both Finnish and Swedish editions of this album and the pictures is identical. The only difference is the first page:
- on the front page a one sentence introduction by Hans Liska, and on its back a list of contents with captions of all drawings which is printed in Finnish and correspondingly in Swedish.

This album (which now is a real "collectors item" in Scandinavia) was apparently published in other European languages as well?

Really? I got a copy of the Swedish edition which my father bought during the war.

He's also on p. 125, background.

Gruppe,

The Kriegs-Skizzenbuch Hans Liska "Luftwaffe" has been reprinted in 1997. It is frequently offered on Ebay.de. At the moment several copies are offered. See for instance:
