Bloch 152 instrument?

Hello,

As the MB 152 seems to attract high interest in a short time frame by neighbouring friends, I would like to identify this 'dial' coming from the supposed crashsite of S/C Jacques Hémery's Bloch 152, G/C II/10, 'Mort pour la France (and for Belgium too)', on the 14th May 1940 in Merbes-Sainte-Marie(B).
I have found this lonely dial, presumed from aeronautical conception because fine screws, coil. Perhaps the pitch indicator such as the one in the central console? Unfortunately, Serge Joanne's book doesn't reveal its ID. So any help is welcome!
Thank you beforehand / Merci d'avance.

Best regards

Hi,
the dial of pitch indicator is squarred (70x70mm to 90x90mm)with a round glass. similar tachymeter.
the pitch indicator is mounted only on MB151, not MB152, because it's specific for Gnome et Rhône Propeller variable pitch.
there are five electrical wire (it's an galvanometer)
Can you mesure the thread of each screw with a gauge to know if the screw are metric or imperial?

Re: Bloch 152 instrument?

Hello Waroff,

Unfortunately I am not able to measure the thread at the moment (need a gauge).
However, I have just found yesterday this other piece at the crashsite. It seems to be a switch, maybe one of those on the 'pilote tableau' at pilot's right. Dimensions are +/- 57mm by 27mm. This is the same metal and fine screws, albeit a little larger
Strangely, I didn't find any other bits, especially the usual alu debris.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Best regards

This switch was used on some french aircraft.
On your switch the label is missing, we see both fixing holes.

On MS 406, there was five switch on/off exactly this.
landing light
nav light
anemometer
ammunition gauge
guncam

I think this model on/off was used on MB151/152 but I'm not sure
anemometer
nav light
landing light
flare Holt
propeller/ammunition gauge/guncam

there are another switch(rheostat, push push switch)

Seen the state of screw and piece, I think that these parts were put down, not crashed.
If these pieces would have been removed from aircraft, then the plane will have been removed

under an original switch, you can see a phosphorescent paint on the toggle

Hello Waroff,

Thank you for your efficient help.
Oh, by the way, your picture reminds me that I have that kind of switches on a panel (not in my possession)!
This panel has also a Morse key, clock. Would you be kind to identify the (type of) aircraft equipped with that panel? Was it a 'reconstruction' of various items with labels, put together, on an ordinary panel?

Best regards.

This panel it's for display collection, each label (1) is recent.
all item 3 to 9 could be used on several french aircraft WWII (this switch model was not used on D520)
the socket could be used for cockpit light , monitor bomber gunsight Bronzavia(LeO 451), gunsight.
Alarm light Labinal, this lamp bright when you reduce power engine if you forget extend flap and landing gear.
The clock "Lip Type 14" was mounted on all type french aircraft
Cordially
