Photos of Curtiss P-40's at Foster Field Texas

Hello
Iam trying to locate any pictures of Curtiss P-40's flown at Foster Field Texas in late 1944 by the AAFTC 2539th AAF Base unit, it appears that they flew a mixture of P-40E, P-40F, P-40N,and K models.

These aircraft were flown by the pilots of the 201st Mexican fighter Squadron of the Grupo de Perfeccionamiento Aeronautico, that later became the Mexican Expeditionary Air Force in 1945.

So far I have been able to locate one aircraft a P-40E s/n.41-36246 that was damaged in a landing accident.

any help or references would be most helpfull.

Thank you
Santiago A.Flores

There were pics on the wall in the terminal/FBO last time I was there.

Unfortunately, I am not close to Victoria.

I too, am interested in the Foster, Aloe, and Nursery Fields in the Victoria area.

I spent some time exploring the remains of Aloe a few years ago.
