JU 88 A-4 B3+ DT 9./KG 54
The above aircraft was shot down on 16th May 1944 near Alton in Hampshire. According to official records it was caught by searchlights and then shot down by a night fighter. All 4 crew were killed. Would anyone have details of any RAF claim made for this bomber?
Many thanks, David |

Re: JU 88 A-4 B3+ DT 9./KG 54
Hi Jim,
Thanks for the information. The ADIK report lists it as being DT, although records from III./KG 54 list it as BT! |
Re: JU 88 A-4 B3+ DT 9./KG 54
The whole crew perished so the remains of the aircraft were probably shattered. Therefore it would be easy to confuse between a B with a D.
