This is a Morane-Saulnier MS 35. Photo taken post 1923 after the introduction of the under wing "buzz numbers"

I have very few Icare. They take up such a huge volume of space and contain so much useless pages that I decided a long time ago to drop them.

By now space is a very premium issue at my place....

Stig provides the following info:


Well I suppose it is a type LA and the unit is deff MS 31 (the Greek Archer symbol)
It was actually made into a Sanke card already during WW 1. As is almost the case the correct SFA number is blanked out by the flag on the fin, but since it is a very early photo (1915?) I would guess it is MS 90-99. I don't believe they kept the LA production going all the way to 900....

The type L is actually a type LA (check the slab sided L vs the more rounded fuselage of the LA)

Thanks for the heads up. Which really is pretty obvious. I think I'll stick to posting stuff I'm actually interested in from here on, rather than what i think might interest others, but I'm too lazy to check!
